Power Electronics is actively strengthening its presence in the e-mobility sector through significant advancements in high-power electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Our commitment to delivering reliable, efficient, and future-proof solutions is evident in our latest innovations, designed to meet the evolving demands of both passenger and heavy-duty electric vehicles.

Shaping Tomorrow's Mobility: High-power EV Charging Solutions

Elevating performance with the Cooled Standalone NB 400

A cornerstone of our innovation in EV charging is the enhanced Standalone NB 400 series. We have introduced an advanced cooling system to this established product, enabling it to achieve continuous current levels exceeding 500 A. This upgrade ensures optimal performance and reliability in diverse EV charging environments.

The Standalone NB 400 is engineered for versatility and compliance. It offers standalone charging power up to 400 kW, with the capability to charge up to two vehicles simultaneously at 200 kW each, or one vehicle at the full 400 kW. Its intelligent combiner and modular architecture significantly improve uptime and field performance, and it is compatible with connectors supporting up to 600 A. Furthermore, the NB 400 is fully compliant with essential North American and European standards, including AFIR, Eichrecht, NTEP, and CTEP, guaranteeing accurate and trusted transactions for a seamless user experience. Its robust design ensures dependable and consistent operation, underscoring our dedication to high uptime.

Leading the charge with Megawatt Charging System (MCS)

Recognizing the critical need for robust charging solutions for heavy-duty electric vehicles, Power Electronics has been a first mover in the deployment of Megawatt Charging System (MCS) chargers. Our MCS solutions are already installed at public charging sites across Europe, demonstrating our commitment to developing infrastructure for the burgeoning heavy-duty EV market.

The Power Electronics MCS charging solution is designed for unparalleled power and flexibility. It is capable of providing a maximum continuous power of 1440 kW, delivered through one to four outputs, and the MCS Dispenser can provide a maximum continuous current of 1500 A. This dedicated solution allows operators to adapt to the needs of the current market by integrating MCS dispensers with CCS/NACS dispensers on the same charging system, offering comprehensive charging capabilities for various vehicle types that require power levels above 1 MW. Our extensive experience in power station-based solutions has informed the robust and reliable design of the MCS Dispenser.

Introducing the Standalone NB 160

Looking ahead, Power Electronics is excited to announce the upcoming launch of the new Standalone NB 160. This innovative product will offer significantly improved power density, delivering up to 160 kW of charging power within the same compact enclosure as our NB 120. Like our other solutions, the NB 160 will be CTEP/NTEP, MID, and Eichrecht compliant.

We encourage you to stay tuned for further announcements regarding the official launch and detailed specifications of the NB 160, as Power Electronics continues to push the boundaries of EV charging technology!
