Selective coating of the electronic circuit boards protects the most vulnerable components from dust, humidity, contamination (PD3) and corrosive substances (3C3). Power Electronics designs its equipment to operate in the most aggressive environments. This includes automatic coating of its printed circuit boards (PCBs) to military and aerospace standards (IEC61086-1:2004,-3-1).
At the beginning of 2017, the irrigation sector had already been making photovoltaic installations for direct supply of private pumps, mostly isolated, to replace or complement the use of generator sets for several years. At that time, Power Electronics SD700SP drive was already the most installed. With the implementation of this solar pumping system it was possible to reduce operating costs and increase energy efficiency.
The thirtieth edition of Gastech, the world’s biggest trade event dedicated to the natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) sectors, took place at the Fira de Barcelona exhibition center in Spain on 17-20 September.
Power Electronics has successfully completed commissioning of an XMV660 medium-voltage variable frequency drive, a 630KW unit operating at 3.3KV, in one of the new facilities of the Canal de Isabel II on the town boundary of Villanueva de la Cañada (Madrid).
