The active harmonic filter FQA injects reactive power and current in the form of harmonics designed to improve the power factor (cos φ), cancel harmonic distortion (THDi), helping to stabilize the network voltage of the electrical distribution system.
OPERATION AT UP TO 50º
COATED ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
This three-wire filter can monitor both the charge current and the current at the point of connection. It acts in perfect opposition to the current phase to cancel out harmonic distortion. The Freemaq FQA incorporates precise dynamic algorithms designed to cancel out harmonics. It offers high performance under any load conditions in full compliance with the quality standard IEEE519.
- Range from 380Vac to 525Vac, modular units for between 100A and 630A
- Dynamic and precise cancelling of harmonics (THDi)
- Control of power factor (cos φ)
- Dynamic control of voltage to stabilize the network (STATCOM)
- Electronic components totally sealed to IP54 standards, without dust filters
- Easy front access to the main components (FFA)
At the beginning of 2017, the irrigation sector had already been making photovoltaic installations for direct supply of private pumps, mostly isolated, to replace or complement the use of generator sets for several years. At that time, Power Electronics SD700SP drive was already the most installed. With the implementation of this solar pumping system it was possible to reduce operating costs and increase energy efficiency.
The thirtieth edition of Gastech, the world’s biggest trade event dedicated to the natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) sectors, took place at the Fira de Barcelona exhibition center in Spain on 17-20 September.
Power Electronics has successfully completed commissioning of an XMV660 medium-voltage variable frequency drive, a 630KW unit operating at 3.3KV, in one of the new facilities of the Canal de Isabel II on the town boundary of Villanueva de la Cañada (Madrid).
