Power Electronics attends Japan’s largest trade fair dedicated to the photovoltaic sector

2 March, 2018

Power Electronics was present in Tokyo at the ninth edition of the exhibition of solar power systems, forming part of the 2018 Smart Week events. Japan’s largest trade event in the photovoltaic sector attracted more than 400 local and foreign exhibitors. It also brought together leaders, developers, EPCs and investors from both the public and private sectors. More than 60,000 people visited the EXPO and the Smart Week events.

We exhibited our Freesun HEM system along with Freemaq DC/DC, a bidirectional DC/DC converter designed for energy storage purposes. Representatives of various international and local companies visited our stand over the three days of the event, and we were able to strike up commercial relationships with several project developers, EPCs and other service providers.

Ever since Power Electronics set up a branch in Japan in 2013, our presence there has expanded exponentially. Power Electronics Japan has supplied the country with more than 39 MW of power capacity to date, and the list of projects continues to grow. We are confident that the event will prove to have been a great opportunity for us to showcase our company and its products.
