Power Electronics is committed to environmental awareness, which is why it has renewed sponsorship of the Openbank Aspar Team, competing in the MotoE World Championship, this year with the incorporation of the pilots Jordi Torres and María Herrera.
The multinational reaffirms its strong commitment to sports, getting involved in the world’s most important electrical motorcycle championship with the Openbank Aspar Team, who are strengthening their ranks by incorporating Jordi Torres, twice electrical motorcycle champion in 2020 and 2021.
In addition, the team has opted for the continuity of María Herrera, who at 26 will tackle her fifth season and is one of the three rider that has taken part in the electric races.
The company highlights the importance of sponsoring teams that share the same values as the organization regarding sustainability and equality and affirms they are firmly committed to being present at the only electric motorcycle championship in the world, this year consolidated as a World Championship for the first time.
The Aspar Team, led by Jorge Martínez “Aspar” is one of the teams forming part of the competition, which will include 16 races this year and which pursues sustainability in motorsports as well as the fight against climate change, thanks to the reduction of CO2 emissions achieved through the use of electric vehicles.
