More than 10.000 daily participants have been able to enjoy in Madrid the best world tennis players and have witnessed how Carlos Alcaraz has won the title of the Mutua Madrid Open 2023 during the most sustainable edition of the tourney.
Power Electronics, the leading energy storage company and the first solar inverters manufacturer for photovoltaic plants in America, Oceania and Europe, has been the official supplier of all the chargers for electric vehicles set up in the Magic Box.
During the past weeks, Madrid has held the last ATP tourney. In its tennis courts at the Magic Box, the best world tennis players have competed for what is considered by most as the fifth Grand Slam of the circuit, a Mutua Madrid Open that in its 2023 edition has seen how Carlos Alcaraz became the winner of the tourney after a splendid match where he defeated Jan-Lennard Struff.
The tourney has not only been special because of the result and the spectacular environment, but also because it has been the first tennis tourney that has put faith in electric mobility, where more than 1500 charges of electric vehicles have taken place.
With the installation of the 17 NB City chargers provided by Power Electronics, company leader in the renewable energy field, tennis players and enthusiasts have been able to charge their electric vehicles while they were enjoying a tourney that has beaten records of attendance and audience.
Designed to respond to the specific needs of cities and intelligent buildings, and including all the necessary electric protections for its installation, the NB City chargers have a maximum power of 22kW in each of their two hoses.
Also, during the tourney, more than 100.000 participants of the Mutua Madrid Open have been able to visit the Power Electronics boutique, where they have had the chance of interacting with several mounts and getting to know first-hand the solutions that the company offers in its electric mobility division.
