Power Electronics has successfully completed the commissioning of a XMV660 medium voltage frequency inverter of 630KW and 3.3KV in one of the new installations of Canal de Isabel II, located in the municipality of Villanueva de la Canada (Madrid).
This new facility will strengthen its water and supply resources in times of drought. When the stored volumes of its reservoirs fall critically, this type of facility would enter into service on an emergency basis, pumping the groundwater and injecting it into a Guadarrama trunk artery in order to continue to cover the required water demand.
Designed under the strictest safety regulations, the XMV660 complies with the most demanding industrial requirements. Available in a wide voltage and power range, the XMV660 offers the best power quality, maximum motor care, uncompromising safety and proven reliability across the whole range.
Canal de Isabel II is a public company, with more than 160 years of history, innovative in the sector, and internationally recognized for its management of the integral water cycle.
