POWER ELECTRONICS PRESENT THEIR MEDIUM VOLTAGE EQUIPMENT IN THE MEXICAN OIL CONGRESS.
Power Electronics will exhibit their XMV660 and SD700 medium and low voltage variable speed drives at the Mexican Petroleum Congress from 10th – 13th June in Guadalajara, Jalisco. A collection of equipment that meets the highest levels of safety, performance, reliability and control.“A global market requires highly reliable, secure and efficient solutions to reduce OPEX and CAPEX on the premises, because of this our teams have evolved combining technological innovation and reliability. This Congress is a good opportunity not only to display but also to share new opportunities and challenges in the industry” says Director of Power Electronics Mexico, Pedro Berriel.
XMV660 REALIBILITY, FLEXIBILITY AND SAFETY FOR THE TOUGHEST CHALLENGES.
The XMV660 is based on a modular and highly proven technology with more than 25 years of experience. A transformer with multiple pulses at input and power cells connected in low voltage series, can generate a quasi-sine voltage wave and current on both entry and exit to the motor with low dV/dt, THDi and HVF.
OUTDOOR XMV660, PREPARED TO RESIST SANDSTORMS
Power Electronics has recently released a weather-proof version of the XMV660, integrating the XMV660 with a single outdoor enclosure designed to withstand the most demanding conditions of dust, moisture and ice. Extreme conditions are increasingly popular in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Water industries.
SD700: HIGH RANGE VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE FOR THE TOUGHEST CHALLENGES
The SD700 is the heart of the series family. The product is available for a power range from 1.5kW to 2000kW, a voltage range from 230VAC to 690VAC and configurations of 6, 12, 18 and 24 pulses. The mechanical design with IP20 and IP54 cover all general industry applications, making this the most extensive and flexible series.
Under the motto “Knowledge, Technology and Experience: Key to Competitiveness” there are over 5,000 professionals and 200 companies related to the oil industry expected in attendance.
