Amadeo Salvo participated in the 4th Annual Economics and Business Meeting of the Cañada Blanch Foundation at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia, held on the Tarongers campus.
Amadeo Salvo, Vice President of Operations of Power Electronics, explained to the prospective employers the company history, a story of his father overcoming hardship and rather than being anchored in misfortune he asked for help to create this company, “He and I were Power Electronics” declared Salvo, now Power Electronics has about 700 employees with 15 offices around the world.
Salvo highlighted a milestone in the story, the internationalization of the company, opening the Spanish company to the rest of the world, choosing to be David rather than Goliath. “To endure against Giants we must work harder than them and we must want to be the best”. Decisions like this have led the company to compete against some of the largest companies in the world.
This conference also coincided with the week in which Power Electronics reached the final of the prestigious European Business Awards to receive Ruban d’Honneur status in the category “Growth Strategy of the Year”, which recognizes the exceptional levels of growth achieved by the company in the past 18 months. .
